“Derzhgruntokhorona” announces the start of the student essay contest

For several years in a row, the state institution “Institute of soil protection of Ukraine” has been drawing children’s attention to the soil and preserving its fertility by holding a children’s drawing contest “LET’S SAVE THE SOILS OF OUR NATIVE UKRAINE”. In 2020, more than 6  thousand young researchers took part in the competition, who received new knowledge and competencies in this area, outlining their interpretations and attitudes to the problem of soil conservation in Ukraine. In 2021, the competition goes beyond the children’s level and begins a new stage — attracting students, who have always been considered the most progressive stratum of society.

The contest of student essays “LET’S SAVE THE SOILS OF OUR NATIVE UKRAINE” is timed to coincide with the International Soil Day (World Soil Day) and is held by the state institution “Institute of soil protection of Ukraine”.

Entries are accepted from November 24 to December 24, 2021 inclusive.

The contestant sends the original of their work together with the application to the email address ese.grunt@gmail.com (be sure to specify the topic — “The last name of the Essay”).
