Specialists of the SI “Derzhgruntokhorona” took part in the conference Day of France in Ukraine
<p><!–:uk–></p>On February 16 this year, within the framework of the exhibition “AgroVesna 2022”, the conference Day of France in Ukraine “Innovative solutions in the context of climate change and sustainable development of agricultural production” was held.
Organizers: French Embassy in Ukraine, Business France Agency, Credit Agricole Ukraine, Kiev International Contract fair (KICF).
The conference was attended by specialists of the SI “Derzhgruntokhorona”.
The following issues were considered at the event:
– French-Ukrainian cooperation in the field of agriculture;
– regenerative agricultural production: French experience and prospects of Ukraine;
– seed selection in the face of climate change and market fluctuations;
– efficient nutrition of agricultural crops in 2022;
– innovative solutions to combat climate challenges: overcoming hydro-stress in plants in continental climates;
– financial analysis of the feasibility of investing in innovations.
The sustainability of the agricultural sector is not only exceptional given the current crisis, but also vital given the climate crisis, which requires a rethink of production processes, consumption culture, starting with our food. This topic was fruitfully discussed at the conference among specialists from two major agricultural countries, recognized worldwide for their ability to develop and implement innovations and the latest solutions.
