THE RESULTS OF THE CHILDREN’S DRAWING CONTEST WERE SUMMED UP

The people’s lands are forces, |
So the results of the annual contest of children’s drawings “LET’S SAVE THE SOILS OF OUR NATIVE UKRAINE”, dedicated to the International Soil Day (World Soil Day), which was announced by our institution in November last year, have been summed up.
It is very nice to get more than 6 thousand drawings! Here are the works of the competition jury! Considering such a large number of works is a difficult task, and even in the context of the pandemic situation in the country. But we did it!
Working through each work, we were filled with pride for the children’s concern for learning new things about the soil, the problems of its preservation.
It is pleasant to note the active patriotic position that can be traced in the works. Perhaps thanks to such a drawing contest, children will become agrochemists, soil scientists and in the future professionally take care of our land. Maybe! We are convinced that under any circumstances, the land, soil, and environment will be not indifferent to them.
We have gotten the extremely touching descriptions for drawings! There are both their own thoughts and feelings, as well as statements of outstanding people, folk wisdom…

You are incredibly talented! Your works are filled with a deep understanding of the topic, care for your yard, village, town, city, Ukraine and our planet Earth.
It is gratifying that the age range of the contestants, as announced, is from 3 to 18 years! Imagine – a three-year-old child, and already understands what the soil is and that it must be protected!
DEAR PARENTS, TEACHERS, EDUCATORS, ARTISTS, OFFICIALS, please accept my sincere gratitude for the love, training, upbringing of our children, pedagogical talent, professionalism, competence and dedication. Thanks to you, children discover their abilities and talents. I bow to you for your hard work, patience, individual approach and sensitive attitude to each child. We wish you good health, optimism, prosperity and success!

The works were evaluated by specialists of the state institution “Institute of soil protection of Ukraine” in accordance with the requirements of the competition: for revealing the topic of soil conservation of Ukraine, skill, accuracy and creativity.
